Veteran NTV Sports Presenter Sean Cardovilis is appealing to Kenyans to help him offset his medical expenses.
Former NTV Anchor is admitted to the hospital where he is receiving treatment.
Cardovilis has, however, not been able to raise the amount of money needed to charter for his medical expenses.
“Sean has been hospitalised for a while now. The chest pains he had been experiencing for a while turned into Pneumonia and one of his lungs collapsed.
“He also had an infection around his heart. He is receiving professional treatment and he is improving but needs monitoring and further care,” reads a poster on seeking financial support.
The news has been widely shared by fellow Kenyan Journalists on social media asking netizens to join hands together.
Sean has worked for over 20 years and has a vast experience in Kenyan media.
In 2020, during the Covid-19 period he alongside the likes of Ken Mijungu and Debarl Inea were laid off by NTV.
His career journey began at KTN before joining Capital FM. He later went to Seychelles and worked for 7 years before returning back to the country.
In 2014, he joined Nation Media Group where he worked until 2020.
