Reactions as Wajackoyah Appoints Omar Lali National Coordinator Of Beach Boys

Roots Party presidential contender Prof George Wajackoyah has appointed Omar Lali as the party’s Coordinator of Beach Boys Association countrywide.

Wajackoyah’s running mate Justina Wamae made the news public on Friday, June 24 through her Facebook page.

Wamae noted that beach boys form a key constituency, but have always been ignored by presidential candidates.

“I have today appointed Omar Lali as Roots Party Coordinator of Beach Boys Association country wide. Beach boys spur up the tourism economy as they are guides offering lengthy tours of the coastline and the marine parks. Others sell African souvenirs such as khangas, Maasai sandals and beadwork. Some of these traders display their wares along the sandy stretch.

“Omar brings the beach boys vote who are many at times ignored in Kenya’s development agenda. Roots Party of Kenya looks forward to this strategic partnership,” she said.

Wajackoyah has been making headlines since he mentioned about his manifesto which include legalizing marijuana, introducing snake farming and reducing working days to four.

Omar on the other hand is also known to the public. Lali made headlines in July 2020 after he was accused of being behind the death of his then girlfriend and late Keroche heiress Tecra Muigai who reportedly fell to her demise in the bathroom of the house they shared on May 3, 2020

Here are some reactions from Kenyans following the recent Omar Lali’s appointment.

Sheariah S: “seems we will need to be shaggy for government appointments from this guy.”

Peter Murithi: “Why do beachboys need coordination? And what of beachgirls?”

Cliff Rhodah: “This joke has been taken too far.”

Kelemet: “Everything to do with this man is just interesting.”

Chiwaii: “JAH’s messenger is the bearer of Kenya’s liberation. Here comes trouble here comes the danger send by the Savior to welcome the rasta.”
