[ad_1]

Azimio La Umoja leader Raila Odinga has accused Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi after claiming that handshake has burden Kenyans Punitive public debt and high taxation.

Mudavadi during a press conference, stated that before President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga joined forces the national debt stood at KSh 4.5 trillion but after the handshake it has shot to KSh 11.7 trillion.

Further adding that, handshake has brought about high taxation resulting high cost of living.

“It may be of interest to note that debt commitment pre-handshake was Ksh. 4.5 trillion and the post-handshake figure has ballooned to Ksh. 11.7 trillion.

“Was the handshake a license to burdening Kenyans with punitive public debt, punitive taxation, punitive food prices and a high cost of living?” Mudavadi posed.

ANC Leader Musalia Mudavadi

The Former Prime Minister has fired back at Mudavadi stating that back then when he was Minister of finance he took loans and misused the funds.
