Outspoken lawyer Miguna Miguna has positively reacted to Deputy President William Ruto’s speech at UDA NDC that happened on Tuesday, March 16.
In his speech, the second in command found fault with boss President Uhuru stating that Uhuru’s second term was a waste.
“Those who remained loyal to our founding vision within Jubilee were shunned, hounded, threatened and then persecuted. This is how we lost four years that would have gifted the brilliant blossoming of a beautiful dream which inspired millions of Kenyans in 2013,” he said.
According to Ruto, public institutions like KRA, DCI, and the judiciary had been weaponized.
“On out first day we will free the DCI, we will free the KRA from the state capture, they have weaponised DCI, KRA and the EACC to run political errands,” Mr. Ruto said as his supporters cheered him on.
“UDA is a party for every Kenyan, from every walk of life. Here, you won’t be asked about the name of your father.”
Reacting to the hard-hitting speech, Miguna Miguna praised Ruto stating that he was echoing his message since 1987.
“We will not surrender to tyranny. We will not bow to anyone. We will not worship anyone. Kenya does not belong to anyone. Kenya belongs to all of us. We will liberate Kenya. Wonderful to see William Ruto and his team echo my message since 1987. Bravo,” Miguna stated.
