Celebrated TV presenter Akisa Wandera on Thursday, February 17, held her last bulletin on KTN.
The TV journalist has worked with the Mombasa Road-based media house for six years.
Akisa, headed for BBC thanked the station and the viewers who supported her during her time.
“It marks the last bulletin I present here on KTN News. The time has come for me to move on to a new assignment.
Tonight I bid you goodbye with a grateful heart. It has been an immense pleasure and great honour that you trusted me on informing you all these years. Thank you for constantly tuning in and for your support,” she said in part.
Her colleague Mary Kilobi wished her best of luck stating that she will be missed.
Adding that, Akisa used to lighten up to mood in the editorial room.
“Akisa, my love. Today being your last day at KTN, mixed feelings are littered everywhere. Much as we are genuinely happy about your new challenge, we will miss the sunshine you bring.
You were the life of the 2nd floor. Always know that I am just a text away. Lots love Mukhana,” she wrote.
