Kate actress explains why she skipped Fenty Beauty launch: “Conflict of Interest”

Renowned actress and entrepreneur Kate Karanja has explained why she missed Rihanna’s Fenty beauty launch event held in Nairobi.

Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin products were officially launched in the country on Thursday, May, 26 in an event graced by local celebrities, musician, media personalities among others.

Kate wrote a note on her official Twitter page disclosing that she could not have attended the launch due to conflict of interest.

This is possibly because she also owns a cosmetics company. Kate launch her own cosmetics line called House of Humba that majorly focuses on lip-care.

“Not me missing the Fenty launch because of a conflict of interest. I mean, is #HouseofHumbaCosmetics a joke to you. Big dreams. Mark this tweet *#SaveYourCenty,” Kate wrote on Twitter.
