A new song released recently by a Kalenjin musician has gone viral leaving many Kenyan talking following it’s funny lyrics and smooth rhythm. The song generally urges people to go partying and enjoy this Christmas holiday.
The musician in her song advises the public to carry a charger – of course if by any chance their phones runs out of charge, to carry a sweater – to keep themselves warm and not forgetting their brains.
The song’s video quality is quite impressive with a club like setting and female video vixens seen shaking their bum bum.
In the song, the musician borrows heavily from Terrence Creative’s common words like legit, fine whiskey. In another sentence, she asks if everyone has a drink, like in the common Iyani’s Kila Mtu Akona Pombe song.
Here are some of the comments from social media users.
Olchore Lekulei: “And then you will hear someone say that Kalenjins are not Romanic, are they Galatians?”
Ipovi John Gitonga: “Sounds like good advice today.” Winnie Wanjiru added: “It’s actually very nice, I love it.”
Hazard Timothy: “This season w will have to walk with a charger, a sweater and a chaser for you never know where a party will find you.”
Christine Ngugi: “Personally, I have a sweater and a charge, it is the brain I do not have.”
Smata Gal: “The composer should be jailed as we are talking.”
