Fathers Day 2022: How Kenyan Celebrities marked the day

Father’s day is usually a day when people celebrate the kings of the family. It is in this time that we show the men who are the father figures in our lives love for their contribution in building their respective families and the society at large.

Celebrities worldwide were not left behind in this celebration, they took to social media to celebrate the men who helped shape them into humans they are today.

Here are some sweet messages that Kenyan celebrities had for their fathers, husbands and brothers in their lives.

Gospel singer and pastor Size 8 took the opportunity to wish her husband DJ Moh a happy father’s day with a lovely message on her Instagram page.

Size 8 thanked the popular DJ and the father to their kids for working hard to provide for the family and further spreading love in the family.

“Wow words cannot explain my gratitude to you my friend and love You have been the best dad to these little ones @ladashabelle.wambo and @muraya.jnr… Your love and care and concern for them is beyond my expectations… You work so hard for them to give them a better life than you ever had… May God bless you for being there for them,” Size 8 wrote.

On the other hand singer Wahu also celebrated the day by wishing her husband musician Nameless a happy father’s day. In her message, the loving lass hilariously made fun of nameless’ forehead saying she was grateful their daughter did not inherit it. Wahu also wished mothers who played the role of fathers and all men at large a happy father’s day.

“Happy happy Father’s day babe! I’m so grateful that you’re in our lives…and that our girls didn’t inherit your forehead,” said Wahu.

YouTuber Maureen Waititu was not left behind in celebrating the big day. She wrote a heartwarming message on her Instagram page wishing all father a great day. She also posted a photo of her her dad who posed alongside her mum as she celebrated the day.

“Best Father’s Day Wishes from a daughter, an auntie and a mother to all fathers, father figures, fathers to be and everyone who has stepped up to be a father in one way or another.”

The YouTuber also celebrated the father of her two sons, Frankie Kiarie, aka Frankie JustGymIt.

Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee also complimented her fiance, American singer and actor Rotimi. The celebrated tanzanian singer posted his fiance with their baby boy dancing and plastered it with a heartwarming message.

“What a divine joy, honor and pleasure it is to experience you as Dad. Baby you checked yet another box this past year and my love you do it so effortlessly. Baba Seven you’re an incredible Father, hands down the best of the best, Seven and I are so blessed to have you, “Vanessa wrote.

Social media personality Sara Kamy on her Instagram stories posted a video of her partner celebrity hairdresser George Dufanda, carrying their twins while dancing.

In her message, Kammy professed her love for dufanda and appreciated him for everything.

“Thank you for being always here for our family. We love and appreciate you,” she captioned the video.

Content creator Georgina Njenga, who recently became a mum, posted a photo of her boyfriend, former Machachari actor Tyler Mbaya while holding their daughter Astra to celebrate his first time as a father, saying,

“for the past few weeks I’ve seen the effort and love to learn things. We love you.”

Socialite and businesswoman Vera Sidika also celebrated singer Brown Mauzo as the great father he is to their daughter Asia.

“I adore you with all my heart and that feeling will never go away. Seeing what a great father you are only makes me love you more,” Vera wrote.

Khaligraph Jones’s wife Georgina Muteti proudly wished the rapper a happy father’s day, telling him,

“You deserve every good thing in your life baba Amali.”

On the other hand, Ivy Namu wrote to media personality Willis Raburu confessing that carrying his children “has been nothing short of magical.”

“Thank you for being a consistent, intentional and present dad; and for everything you do to make sure your family is safe and comfortable, I don’t take it for granted,” Ivy wrote on Instagram.

Actress Jackie Matubia celebrated her fiancé actor Blessing Lungaho following the arrival of their baby early this month. The actress posted Blessing holding their baby in the company of her six-old-daughter.

“We love you and appreciate you.”

Grace Ekirapa also celebrated her husband Pascal Tokodi being his first time as a father. The couple welcome a bouncing baby weeks ago.

“On this Fathers Day. it givesme soo much Joy to Celebrate My love @pascaltokodi because it happens to be his First Fathers Day. Every part of this video brings tears to my eyes. He stood outside the theatre extremely anxious that between the minutes I was in there, he changed clothes three times. He kept pacing outside the door peeping to see if baby was already out. He cried tears of joy and for a moment he dint find jokes or humor to cover his emotions. instead, he allowed himself to feel the joy as he heard his baby’s first cry . Baby. Pascal responded to the sweet message recounting how in the past he always wished to have her as the mother to his kids and knew she would be one great mother.

” A fews years ago. I said to you.” The thought of you being the mother to our children puts my mind at ease. You’ll make a wonderful mother and I can’t wait to make you one.” Look at us now. together through the ups and downs baby, always and forever .wako was dhati. Baba AJ,” The father of one wrote.
