Anne Ngirita to spend more days in custody.

[ad_1]

Anne Ngirita will have more days in custody after a Nairobi based corruption court ordered that she be detained untill when she  replaces  a ksh 500,000  surety that had been earlier deposited in court in  order to bail her out.

The surety was part of the bail terms that had been given out by an anti- corruption court when she was charged over loss of millions at the NYS back in 2018. Ann was given a contract to supply air.

Magistrate Eunice Kagure  directed that Ngirita remains in custody at the Langata women’s prisons untill she finds a replacement after the  person who had stood surety for her withdrew.
